1. What are the steps in the admission process at BISC?
The admission process includes the following steps:

  • Step 1: Registration
  • Step 2: After payment of the registration fee, collect the document checklist, test outline, and admission form, and book an appointment for the admission test from the Admission Office.
  • Step 3: Admission Test & Submission of Documents
  • Step 4: Interview with the Coordinator or Vice Principal
  • Step 5: Creation of Student Profile & Issuance of Final Admission Challan

2. When does the academic session start and end?

Our academic year begins in August and ends in May. We do allow late admissions for students transferring from other schools, depending on seat availability. In such cases, parents are required to provide the most recent assessment card from the previous school along with the School Leaving Certificate (SLC).

3. What is the age criteria for admission?

  • Playgroup: 2+ years
  • Nursery: 3+ years
  • KG: 4+ years
  • Prep: 5+ years
  • Grade 1: 6+ years
  • Grade 2: 7+ years
    (and so on for higher classes)

4. How can I register my child online?

For online registration, kindly email the following information to admissions@bravian.edu.pk:

  • Both parents’ CNICs
  • Parents’ mobile numbers & email IDs
  • Child’s B-Form/Smart Card/Passport (whichever available)
  • Residential address
  • Desired grade and campus (Lahore or Karachi)

Alternatively, you may also visit the campus in person during official timings: Mon–Fri, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.

5. How can I pay the registration, admission, and monthly fee challans?

  • Lahore: after receiving the fee challan, payment can be made in cash at the campus or at the designated bank. Please note that online payments are not being accepted at the moment.
  • Karachi: after receiving the fee challan, payment can be made online or at the designated bank.
  • Monthly fee challans are issued on the 22nd of every month. It is the parent’s responsibility to collect the challan from the Parent Portal or Admission Office before the due date to avoid any inconvenience.

6. Is the admission test and interview compulsory?

  • Nursery to Grade 8: Yes. Covers English, Math & Urdu (previous grade’s content). Students must secure at least 50% marks to qualify. A basic interview with the Coordinator or Vice Principal follows.
  • A-Level & Intermediate: Admission test is not required. Evaluations are based on past academic performance & interview.
  • Matric & O-Level: Evaluations include both compulsory and optional subjects as well.

7. What happens if my child does not qualify the admission test?

Parents may reapply after a preparation. Our team will provide further guidance to support your child’s readiness for the next attempt.

8. How can I track my child’s admission status?

You can track the progress of your child’s admission (test, interview, and fee status) through the  admissions@bravian.edu.pk or by contacting relevant Admission Officer via email.

9. What documents are required on the admission test day?

Parents must ensure the following documents are submitted on the test day (all compulsory):

Compulsory Documents Checklist (Required all documents on the test day)

1. Recent passport size photographs of the student (2 with white background).

2. Recent passport size photographs of the parents (1 each with white background).

3. A copy of student Form-B / FRC / NICOP / Passport.

4. A copy of previous academic results & SLC

5. Copy of parents valid CNICs.

6. Residency proof if Bahria Town resident. (allotment letter/rental agreement/NOC & utility bill copy)

8. Driver's CNIC copy, mobile number and picture (if applicable).

9. Guardian other than parents if applicable (CNIC copy, mobile number & 1 recent passport size picture)

10. Custody document in case of a single parent; divorce certificate, death certificate, guardianship documents. (if applicable)

7. For admission in Matric, Inter, O & A-levels documents as per BISE/CIE/AK Board's rules.

10. Which curriculum does the school follow for O & A-levels?

At our school, we offer the Oxford syllabus from Preschool through Grade 8.

After completing Grade 8, students are given the option to pursue either the Matriculation stream or the O-Levels program (Cambridge International Examinations - CIE), based on their academic goals and interests.

We follow the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) curriculum for O-Level & A-Level.

O-level:

  • O-Level: 3-year program (IX–XI).
  • Pre-O-Level Program: 4 months (Jan–Apr) for subject guidance & assessment.
  • IX-O begins in August.
  • At the end of X-O, students sit for 3 O-Level subjects (Islamiat, Pak Studies & Urdu).
  • The remaining 5 subjects are attempted in XI-O (May/June exams).

A-Level

• Bravian International School & College offers A-Level programs to students who have successfully completed their O-Levels or an equivalent qualification.
• A-Level is a subject-based qualification designed to develop in depth knowledge, analytical ability, and independent thinking skills.
• The syllabus prepares students for higher education, which is why A-Level is valued and recognized by universities worldwide.

  • Cambridge International A-Level is typically a two year course and Cambridge International AS-Level is a one year course. The college offers a ‘staged’ assessment route in which the students take the Cambridge International AS-Level in one examination series and complete the final Cambridge International A-Level at a subsequent series usually at the end of the course.
  • CAIE holds annual examination twice a year, in June and November.

11. Which curriculum does the school follow for Matric & Intermediate?

  • Lahore: Bravian International School & College Lahore is registered with the Lahore Board and offers the approved curriculum of Punjab Text Book Board.
  • Karachi: Bravian International School & College Karachi is registered with the Agha Khan Board and offers the approved curriculum of AKU-EB.

12. What facilities does the school provide?

13. Do you offer sibling or any other discounts?

We regret to inform you that no discounts are being offered at this time. Our centralized fee structure is already designed to be reasonable and inclusive of curricular and extracurricular facilities. However, we offer merit-based scholarship to the Intermediate & A-levels students.

14. What are the transport charges?

We charge transport fees based on the route and zone. After confirmation of admission, we will provide the exact transport fee details. Kindly, also that, transport application may be approved or rejected on the basis of the availability of seats. Note: we do not offer one-way transport.

15. How can I communicate with the Admissions Office?

You may visit the admission office Mon-Fri 09:00 am till 03:00 pm. If you have already contacted the admission officer then continue communication on the same admission officer’s email ID.
If you don’t have their email ID, send your query to admissions@bravian.edu.pk with the following details:

  • Student’s name
  • Registration number
  • Class & campus
  • Your concern

16. How does the school communicate important updates?

All updates are shared via:
• Parent Portal/GCIDs
• Registered Email IDs

Parents are advised to keep their contact details updated with the Admission Office.

17. How can I update my child’s profile information?

To update your child’s information (such as contact details, address, guardian information, or documents), please send an email from your registered email ID to admissions@bravian.edu.pk
Mention the student’s full name, registration number, class, and campus, along with the updated information or documents. Once verified, the Admission Office will update the profile and confirm via email.

18. How can I apply for re-admission after withdrawal or strike-off?
Parents whose child’s admission was withdrawn or struck off may apply for re-admission by:

  1. Submitting a re-admission application through the Admission Office or by email.
  2. Please note that re-admission is subject to seat availability and management approval.

19. How can I seek guidance regarding the fee challan or fee heads?
For clarification about any fee head (e.g., tuition, transport, or service charges), please contact the Accounts Department through your campus Admission Office.
You may also email your query to accounts@bravian.edu.pk, clearly mentioning the student’s name, registration number, and campus.

20. What should I do if my GCID or Parent Portal is not working?

If you are unable to access your GCID or Parent Portal, please contact the IT Support Team via email at itsupport@bravian.edu.pk or it@bravian.edu.pk.

For faster assistance, include the following details in your email:

  • Student’s full name
  • Registration number
  • Class and campus
  • Screenshot (if any error message appears)

Note: Please be informed that GCID access may be temporarily blocked on the 12th of each month if school dues remain unpaid. You are advised to clear the dues before the due date to avoid any such inconvenience.

The IT team will review your request and restore access as soon as possible.

21. How can I cancel (withdraw) my child’s admission?

If you wish to withdraw your child’s admission from the school, please follow the process below:

  1. Submit a written withdrawal application
    • You may email the application to admissions@bravian.edu.pk from your registered email ID
      or submit a signed hard copy at the campus Admission Office.
    • Mention your child’s full name, registration number, class, and campus, along with the reason for withdrawal.
  2. One-month notice period
    • As per school policy, parents are required to serve and pay a one-month notice period fee at the time of withdrawal, regardless of attendance.
  3. Final settlement and clearance
    • After receiving the withdrawal request, the Accounts Department will prepare a final settlement statement that includes any outstanding or refundable amounts (e.g., security deposit).
    • Once all dues are cleared, the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) and other relevant documents will be issued.
